The Colliery Spoil Biodiversity Initiative (Liam Olds) also offers a wide range of services to both the public and private sectors. These include:

  • Invertebrate surveys and site assessments (to inform development proposals, habitat management, 're-wilding' and other nature conservation projects, etc.)

  • Specialist advice regarding invertebrate species/habitat management and conservation

  • Invertebrate talks and guided walks

  • Training courses on various subjects including invertebrate identification, ecology and survey techniques (please visit the Training page to see upcoming courses).
