Services

The Colliery Spoil Biodiversity Initiative offers a wide range of services to both the public and private sectors (these services are not restricted to colliery spoil sites). These services include:

​

  • Invertebrate surveys and site assessments (to inform development proposals, habitat management, 're-wilding' and other nature conservation projects, etc.)

  • Specialist advice (regarding invertebrate species and habitats, and their management and conservation)

  • Invertebrate talks and guided walks

  • Training courses on various subjects including invertebrate identification, ecology and survey techniques.
